Handle

Struct Handle

Source
pub struct Handle { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Generation-checked identity of one allocation. It stops resolving as soon as its allocation is freed, even if the slot is reused for another run.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Handle

Source

pub const NONE: Handle

A handle that is never current, for filling buffers.

Source

pub const fn pool(self) -> u8

Pool number the handle was allocated from.

Source

pub const fn slot(self) -> u16

Allocation slot inside that pool.

Source

pub const fn generation(self) -> u32

Generation of the slot when the handle was issued.

Source§

impl PartialEq for Handle

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Handle) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
