AabbClipPlane

Struct AabbClipPlane

Source
#[repr(C)]
pub struct AabbClipPlane { pub normal: [i16; 3], pub kind: u8, pub signbits: u8, pub distance: i32, }
Expand description

Four-byte-aligned plane record used by the GTE AABB clip batch.

This layout deliberately matches retained engines that store (normal, kind, signbits, distance). kind remains caller-owned, while signbits caches the negative-normal mask (x | y << 1 | z << 2) used to select AABB support points without rereading the normal components.

Fields§

§normal: [i16; 3]

Signed Q12 plane normal.

§kind: u8

Caller-owned plane kind or axial classification.

§signbits: u8

Negative-normal mask (x | y << 1 | z << 2).

§distance: i32

Q12 plane distance.
